Prem & championship 2014/15

Postby muppet number 2 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 9:58 pm

Chelsea champions, Man City runners up. Arsnanel & Liverpool 3rd & 4th.
Relegation probably Burnley but my 3 are West Brom, Swansea & Sunderland.
Champion ship outsiders Bourmouth. Derby to finish of what they should of done last season. Blackburn should be in there.
Put your shirt on Blackpool to go down and swop places with Preston.

No Man U in there Mr Muppet...new Manager will make a massive diference but they probably need at least a Season to get themselves sorted. :) :) :)

I am biased here..... so take that into account!

Leeds are 7/2 to go down. We have bought a number of unknown Italians from the fringes of Serie A and Serie B. I watched the friendly yesterday against Dundee United (finished 4th in the SPL, so probably a fair representation of a championship team) and we were all over them. The new players seem to be gelling very well, the football is on the ground (not seen that in years) and moving fast. I was very very impressed with what I saw for a change. There are still a lot of rumours flying round about further signings to strengthen both attack and defence.

If you can lay it at those prices on the exchange then I would think that's a great bet.

caveats- yes, I'm a leeds fan so biased. Hockaday has no managerial record to speak of. Cellino- the new owner-is a loose cannon.

Leeds will do just fine. U probably need a bit of time to gell but could well be in the mix come next April. Good luck Leeds :-)

Yeah, after a lot of initial reservations I am feeling a lot happier about the upcoming season, which is why betting against the 7/2 has a lot of value imo.

Think it might take a full season to get Utd back on track but I think he's the right man for the job TBH. :D :D :D

If you fancy Leeds the value is in the spread. They have them 4th bottom and you can buy them at 55 points

Burnley will be relegated, went to watch them against Celta Vigo and there championship work ethic will not work in the premiership. To slow, passing not up to scratch and just bloody bad lol.

As some know on here i got 3 nice winners in a treble last season, all 3 winners of the Championship league1 and league 2 had to wait for last game of the season "sweat" so these are my picks for this season..

Championship Norwich Watford and Reading

League One Bristol City Peterborough and Chesterfield last game winners of div2 last season

League Two Shrewsbury Southend and Oxford

Nice little perm 27 bets @ £2 best returns just over 22k
