We still have 47 players remaining. Eliminations are a lot more uncommon in this flight as opposed the other 2. It can change though in a heartbeat

I think it was the right ruling? And it made clear that verbal declaration in important, some cases its not possible BUT the ruling in question is fair and justified!

It's horrendous, what happened to common sense!??? They poor guy has nut flush, he has bet 6k. And a guy moves in for 9k. My 6 yr old son would tell you this guy is not folding by turning his cards over. If it's deemed as chip passing then it would be deemed as chip passing/ collusion surely??? Ludicrous ruling!

I ment to say if its deemed as a fold it should be deemed chip passing, in that situation you don't fold.

I have seen first hand the same rule given at another national event. Kat has realised that she made the incorrect ruling and has held her hands up. This is of course a forum and forums are where people come to talk and debate the world of poker. Debate is healthy in the correct context. All poker players are opinionated people, we see this all the time judging another person's actions. This again opens up a debate. Thankfully we are all different people and no opinion is ever the same. That's good because if we were wouldn't life be dull.

Anybody feel casinos should be liable to refund entry money when these mistakes happen by their appointed TD's who obviously aren't correctly schooled by them?

Why is the individual concerned left feeling robbed and frustrated,it is their employees mistake, leave the initial £220 lost in the pot,but reimburse the agrieved.

£220 to a casino, not alot for them i'm inclined to say,but to most individuals, not a sum so easily discarded.

I'm also quite baffled as to why a second opinion was not sought or even considered during the moment.

I played in a £100 tournament at The Ricoh in Coventry a couple of years ago where the exact same thing happened to a player. To their credit, the tournament organisers issued the 'victim' with a token to re-enter a future tournament of the same buy in.
